FAQS

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

IV nutrient therapy is a low-risk procedure whereby nutrients are infused directly into the bloodstream via a small cannula. This process bypasses the digestive systems, thereby resulting in 100% availability of the nutrients to the cells in the body in a safe and effective way.

Almost anyone can benefit from one of our nutrient formulas. These treatments assist in treating an array of conditions and help combat fatigue, anxiety, dehydration, and vitamin deficiencies to name a few.

People with certain medical conditions such as hypertension and diabetes as well as those over the age of 65 years may need to undergo specific blood tests prior to receiving any infusions.

At Re:VitaLife we do NOT administer infusions to pregnant patients, nor to children under the age of 18 years. These populations come with added risks.
Our staff are highly experienced at inserting cannulas for IV therapy. There is always a small amount of discomfort as the cannula is inserted into the vein, but this is generally short-lived.
The IV solutions administered at Re:VitaLife contain a customized mix of saline, vitamins, minerals and amino acids. The choice of combination will be decided upon in your consultation with the physician and will depend on your specific requirements and goals.
Depending on the infused ingredients, clients may feel light-headed, experience flushing or have mild abdominal discomfort. These symptoms are usually short lived and respond rapidly to a small snack. Some bruising may be observed at the site of cannulation.

We advise all clients to have a small snack prior to IV infusion appointments. NO alcohol should be consumed within 8 hours of the infusion.

The frequency of treatments is completely dependent on each individual and will be discussed and decided upon during your initial appointment with the physician.

All infusions are administered by a trained medical professional, either a Registered Nurse or a Medical Doctor.

Most infusions will take between 30-45 minutes. NAD infusions take between 2-3 hours.

Each client is required to have an initial consultation with the physician. This should take approximately 15 minutes. It is imperative to obtain necessary information regarding the medical and allergic history of the client as well as discuss the requirements and goals of the client.

Thereafter the client may schedule infusion appointments, as decided in the initial appointment with the physician, without further consultation.

Should the client wish to change their regimen, a new consultation with the physician must be made.
